How Does This Blog Work Anyway??
What is Mix Tape Therapy? It's a blog where you can write to me to ask for advice, and I'll not only offer you some entertaining solutions, but I'll also give you a kick-ass music mix to match your miseries. I write CD and concert reviews, offer quirky interviews, and occasionally share a slice of crazy pie fresh from the hot mess known as my life.
Who am I to give advice and write music reviews? I'm a former DJ, a current MSW/Phd grad student, and a real piece of work. I steal the bed covers, am a recovering pessimist, and still believe that music can save us all.
Either you get it or you don't, pookie.

Want Me to Review Your CD? Then Read On…
About every week, I review a CD for Mix Tape Therapy. While it's usually for an artist or band fairly well known, I will occasionally reserve a slot for up-and-coming artists. Whether you're U2 or a gal with a guitar from Utica, I am happy to give an honest, straight-shooter review of your work. Just email me at mixtapetherapy@hotmail.com for further details.
Oh and according to the new FTC ruling, I am supposed to let you know if I get any sort of compensation for my reviews. At present - beside the actual CD/download - I do not. But hey, you want to be my sugardaddy, we can always talk.
Kidding. Really.
